For series I photograph I used multiple layers on photoshop and a tripod to help me complete these compositions. 

 

First I found a suitable location and set the tripod and camerra up. I also asked my dad to help me in holding these items in the air to create a floating effect. My dad and I tried to throw the items in the air see if we can create a much more natural feel however it didn't work because it turned out blurry.

I had numerous layers and I followed the tutorial on the left to complete this photograph. After I merged all the layers together I noticed the photos don't look surreal enough so addtionally I added a 3D kind of colour layer to them to enhance the aspects of surrealism.
